Chef-owner Anne Rosenzweig met me and my wife at the door and seated us herself, when we visited for lunch recently. We didn't try the eponymous Lobster Club sandwich, which is reputed to be the specialty, but the food we had was excellent. We both had the "Express Lunch", a $25 bargain including your choice of soup or salad (the caramelized onion soup was the best I've ever had), choice of three entrees (we tried a very tender half-chicken and an excellent grilled salmon/cauliflower risotto dish), and dessert (a sublime passionfruit sorbet oddly described as a parfait, a nice selection of cookies).

The atmosphere is a bit casual for the fine dining, but service was impeccable.
